Those considering joining Transformers Toastmasters should attend one or more meetings (in fact as many as you like!) as a guest. If you wish to join, the Vice President Membership or the Secretary will give you an application form and the Treasurer will discuss the current joining and subscription fees.

For this nominal amount you will receive tuition material, the monthly magazine from Toastmasters International, and periodical publications from Toastmasters in Southern Africa.

The cost of supper is also included in your subscriptions.

Once you have handed in your application form, paid the entry fee and your subscription for the remainder of the current period, you will then be inducted at a short ceremony at the following meeting. Soon after this you will be asked to deliver your first prepared speech, the "ICEBREAKER".

Transformers Toastmasters have adopted a policy of charging semi-annual subscriptions in September and March (six months).

The amount is dependent on the Rand / US Dollar exchange rate. The fees are currently:
New member fee     R240
TMI subscriptions     R420     (6 months)
Club fees     (included in subscriptions)
