Theme for 2011/2012: The Club is the newest member

On 14^th August the World Championship of Public Speaking took place at the International Toastmasters Convention held in Palm Springs, California. District winners from around the world participated in nine semifinal speech contests nine contestants each in the first days of the convention.

Transformers Toastmasters Club member Ryan Ebedes came a magnificent 3^rd place in his semifinal contest.

The 2010 World Champion of Public Speaking is David Henderson of District 55, San Antonio, Texas. The second place went to Robert Mackenzie of District 1, Los Angeles, California (seen on the right in the picture below) and third place went to Linus Chang of District 73, Canterbury, Victoria, Australia ( seen on the left in the picture below).
